Set up notifications and reminders

Choose email and in-app alerts, set up to two reminder times, enable device push and check delivery.

Find the controls

  1. Open Notifications in the provider workspace.
  2. Review Delivery channels for Email and In-app + push readiness.
  3. In Booking messages, choose email confirmation, in-app + push confirmation, and waitlist offers as appropriate.
  4. In Reminders, enable the channels you want and choose up to two times before an appointment. Use Add reminder or the remove control to change the list.
  5. Review Running late, Route briefs and After the appointment if you want those automations.
  6. Select Save notification settings. Confirm the saved message, then revisit the page to check that your choices persisted.

Email, inbox and push are different

Email goes to an account's email address. In-app messages are saved in the RoveLogics inbox. Device push also needs permission on the recipient's current browser or device.

A channel marked Configured or Ready describes setup. It does not prove that a particular email reached the inbox or that a device displayed an alert.

SMS is paused. Use the available email and RoveLogics notification options.

Check a real test email

  1. Read the Live email test notice before using Send test email.
  2. Send test email sends a real transactional message to your signed-in account email. Use it only when you intend to receive that message.
  3. Check the result shown beside the button, then check your inbox and spam folder.
  4. If the result reports an error or the email does not arrive, retain the approximate send time and a non-sensitive error description for support.
Good to know

This button is not a fictional preview and does not test every client notification or scheduled reminder.

Enable and test this device

  1. Use the This device control to enable notifications when you want alerts on the browser or device you are using.
  2. Review the browser's permission prompt. If notifications were previously blocked, review that site's notification permission in your browser settings.
  3. Select Send test push if you want to receive an actual test on the device.
  4. Check both the on-screen result and the device notification. A test request alone is not proof of delivery.

Choose useful reminder times

You can choose up to two reminder times in hours or minutes before the appointment. For example, use 24 hours and 2 hours if that matches your service and policies.

If both reminder channels are off, the reminder-time controls are hidden. If the list has no times, no appointment reminders are scheduled. Save after changing the channels or times.

Troubleshoot a missing message

  • Check that the relevant event and channel are enabled and saved.
  • For push, confirm permission on the recipient's device and check the in-app inbox separately.
  • For email, check the recipient address and spam folder.
  • Review Recent delivery activity for the event, channel and recorded status. This is delivery activity, not a guarantee of inbox placement.
  • Do not send repeated client tests or include sensitive client information when asking support for help.
Good to know

Controls reviewed against the current provider Notifications page on October 31, 2026. Save persistence, browser permissions and actual email/push delivery still require signed-in workflow checks.
